Vintage sewing kit comes in a gold embossed coin purse-like holder with a mustard yellow velvet lined interior. The inside has 2 slit pockets, one on either side and a clear plastic divider with slits for holding certain supplies. The contents include 2 gold metallic cards with 10 assorted colors of thread, a folded paper measuring tape, 4 off-white buttons, a folded piece of paper containing 3 needles, 1 large brass safety pin, and 4 small brass safety pins. The kit appears to be missing a few original items - usually there's a tiny pair of scissors and possibly a few more items in the clear divider in the center. The kit still has plenty of options for last-minute repairs though, and additional items can always be added! All items that remain in the kit appear to have never been used. Great for travel or to keep in the car for last minute repairs, and always good to have on hand for weddings.
Measures 3" tall with clasp x a little over 3.5" long.
All items come from a smoke-free, chemical-free, and pet-friendly environment. We do have one shop cat but she is terrible at wrapping so we don’t usually ask her for her help! Our inventory is also stored in a room that she does not have access to, but since cat hair can possibly be transferred from our clothing please let us know if you have allergies or sensitivities to cats and we will take extra precautions.
